Booking & prices
Start with the date, the package, and the details.
How do we reserve our date?
Check your date, then send your event details. We require a signed contract and a 20% retainer to confirm your booking. Checking availability or sending an inquiry does not reserve the date.
Contracts and payments are handled electronically, and you receive copies for your records.
Where can we see your packages and prices?
Start with our Wedding Packages, then explore the Wedding Pricing Guide for the detailed breakdown. Planning a birthday, school event, or company celebration? See the Event Pricing Guide.
For birthdays and other non-wedding events, the Foundation Package is quoted around your needs. Send us your date, location, and event details so we can guide you to the right fit.
When is the final payment due?
All payments are due at least two weeks before your event. You can pay in full earlier or make payments along the way, as long as the balance is paid by that deadline.
How can we pay?
We send an electronic invoice listing your selected services. You can pay by credit card or through your bank and receive a receipt for each payment. If you prefer another payment method, ask us and we can discuss it with you.

Do your wedding packages include a DJ and MC?
Yes. Our wedding packages include a two-person DJ and MC team, with separate people managing the music and hosting your celebration. We’ll discuss your team and event plans during the booking process.
What styles of music do you play?
We mix across styles and cultures, including Top 40, Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin, Reggae, Soca, Afrobeats, Bollywood, Arabic, Pop, House, Country, Rock, Motown, and more.

Do you entertain at events other than weddings?
Absolutely. We provide entertainment for birthdays, kids’ and teen parties, Sweet 16s, quinceañeras, bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate events, school celebrations, and more.

Can we book enhancements if we already have a DJ?
Yes. You can ask about services such as lighting and photo booths even if you already have a DJ. We require an IKSounds staff member on site to set up and oversee our equipment.

Where do you travel?
We primarily serve New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Wedding packages include travel within a two-hour drive of Belleville, New Jersey; additional travel fees may apply farther away. For other events, travel costs are confirmed in your quote.

Do you carry insurance?
